"For
I know the planes I have for you", Declares the Lord, "Plans to prosper
you and not to harm you, planes to
give you a hope

and a future
."
Jeremiah 29:11

         I think it's
absolutely incredible that our God is so personal that He holds the world, and
at the same time in so in love
with His children. He cares so much for
each one of our lives and longs to have a personal relationship with each of
us.

was born where they say everything is bigger, the big ole' state
of Texas was where I called home for most of my life. I did most of my growing
up there. I am very blessed to be raised in a Christian home, with Christian
parents, and three younger brothers who would do anything for me. My life was
great, I accepted Christ at a young age, got baptized by my dad on father's
day, and lived my life as a Christian because that's what I was raised in. I
grew up home schooled, and being surrounded by Christians at different "home
school schools".

When I was about ten was when my family moved to Georgia because
of my dad's job. Leaving all my family and friends was not easy. Although it
was hard for me, I look back and see Gods sovereign hand in all of it and
wouldn't change it for the world. All along, God knew the plans He had for me!
When I was on a high school retreat I rededicated my life to the Lord. I wanted
to make it my own, not just what my parents say. Now I can say that my identity
is in Christ!

After graduating high school all my friends were excited about
college, and living the college life, except me. I am now 19 and still do not
attend college, and I'm totally fine with that. Yes I get the whole guilt trip,
"How are you going to get anywhere in life without college?" I just
say that college isn't for everyone, and I felt God calling me down a different
road. I know God has huge plans for my life, and is going to use me to further
His Kingdom. I believe that being a Christ follower means it is our job to
spread the Word of God throughout the world. For some, it might be doing that
in their own state, but for me I feel a strong calling to go into the nations
to carry His name!

    "If God is for
us, who can be against us?" Romans 8:29

Since graduating high school, I have started attending
Passion City Church (PCC), and gone on a life-changing trip to Kenya. At PCC, God has shown himself huge, and I have learned so much from my pastor
Louie Giglio! It has grown my passion for missions, and what I feel my calling
is, which is working with orphans and proclaiming the Name of Jesus in the
nations. A messages Louie shared one day at the Passion 2011 conference was
about carrying the name of Jesus, and to make His name famous. That, message
has stuck with me and affirmed Gods calling in my life.

Matthew 28:19 "Therefore, GO and make disciples of all nations..."

*Random
fact
- I STRONGLY dislikes
heights. God tested that, and taught me a lesson about risking in all. After
testing my fears at a training camp by jumping from something very high into
water God reminded me..."Brittany, In life I want you to JUMP, but don't
worry... I got you!"

Ever since I was young, God has placed a passion in my
heart for Africa. I got the privilege of going for a month to Kenya last summer
and it rocked my world. But I saw Christ in the eyes of a little girl, Ann.
Through this, God was reminding me of the amazing love I have received
from my parents, and Heavenly Father in which I could pour it out on Ann.

God is continuing to write my story. His plan for my life is the
PERFECT plan, and I desire to do HIS will whatever that may be in
life.

"And I heard the voice of the Lord
saying, "Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?" Then I said,
"Here am I! Send me."  Isaiah 6:8
