Your Squad Leaders! Patrice Deaton Hey Immersion Crew! I know you all met ...
Crew! I know you all met me at training camp but here is a bit more info about
me. I'm 28, I'll turn 29 on 11-11-11 with you all, which I am sure will
be fantastical. I am originally from Texas, San Antonio to be exact.
I went to school at Texas A&M University where I received a degree in
Kinesiology with a minor in Special Education. I never really wanted to
teach in a school and God knew that so he sent me out into the mission
field. I spent my first year after college in Branson, Missouri in a
discipleship program called Lead Time, which involved me living in a home for
troubled teenagers, Shelterwood. God stretched me a ton that year, ask me
about it I have lots of crazy stories. Not long after that I ended up on
the World Race in January of 2008. I fell in love quickly with my squad
and the leadership of Adventures in Missions, which is partly why I have stayed
around. I've had the honor of leading many trips over the past few years
and I am honored to get to help lead you all. I am excited to see God
rock and wreck our worlds. I am excited to see how you call down
the Kingdom of God to this earth.

boxes(or the process of being boxed in), long bus rides/tight spaces, rice,
smacking, Satan the liar!!!
Who is Jeremy Harris? Well, I just got
off of the World Race in May of this year, and quickly got the urge to get back
out on the field again. I have lived in Memphis, TN basically my whole life. I
graduated from the University of Memphis in the spring of last year with a
degree in economics, so if you want me to bore you with economic discussions, I
can supply that! I was called to the race in the fall of '09 and went on the
first one I could after graduation. Since then, the "Kingdom" lifestyle has
been my sole pursuit. I'm excited to get out on the field and see what that
looks like in every one of your lives. It looks different in everybody, so I
can't wait to see how you guys dream and what the Lord is speaking into you.
You will get to know the other sides of me, but basically, I am extremely easy
going, love a good time, love to laugh, occasionally love to create awkward or
adventurous situation.
