A Letter from Your Support Coach and Mobilizer...
Hey guys,
As you're going through your support raising process, I want to continue to encourage you to trust God that He will provide every last bit you need! That being said, I need you to be diligent in your support raising. Tell people your story, tell them why you feel like God is calling you overseas and invite them to be a part of what God is doing around the world!
With summer here and most people out of school, this is the perfect time to get some good fundraisers in. I've come up with a list of fundraising ideas for you to take a look at if you're feeling stuck. If there are some that have worked for you and aren't on this list, post a comment and share with your teammates!

Create a database of good examples to email out. Mail them to everyone you know! |

Pie/cake auction |
Collect a bunch of pies/cakes/desserts from family, friends, church members, etc and then host an auction. Previously each pie sold for more than $25 each...raising over $1000 |

Poker Night |
Host a poker night. Make it a big event with food, etc. |

Garage/Yard Sale |
Make it big! Offer people to donate goods to your sale. This allows them to get rid of stuff and donate towards your trip indirectly. |

Silent Auction |
Visit businesses and have them donate gifts and/or items to auction off. Have your silent auction at a fundraiser dinner where you speak about your trip. |

|
5K street race |
Put together a 5K Event with t-shirts and prizes. Invite everybody and get sponsors to donate to get their business names on the t-shirts. |

Calendar/photo journal |
Put together a calendar for your race highlighting the countries you will be in. |

|
Immersion Shower |
It's like a wedding shower, but for Immersion. Register for gear such as backpack, sleeping bag, sleeping mat, pack pillow, etc. Then host a party and people can gift you your equipment. |

Benefit Dinner |
Get a local restaurant to donate their catering service or have someone cook a big meal. Then show a promo video and share your heart with them. |

Photography projects |
Selling photos that you've taken; taking family photos for people and having them give a donation to your Immersion trip instead of a sitting fee. |

Selling Chick-Fil-A Calendars |
If you live in the south...who DOESN'T love Chick-Fil-A. Can I get an "Amen'? |
