"Even when you are weak in your faith, I will remain faithful to

                                  you." - 2 Timothy 2:13

Growing up I was one that some might call, "sheltered", the one that avoided trouble and people who got into it. With that being said, it took some time to think about what I was going to write about. Greatest Failure? How am I supposed to write about that when I haven't had a "crazy stage" in my life?
I didn't need to have a "crazy stage" in my life to figure out my greatest failure...

You know when you wake up every morning and most of the time you would rather do anything then spend time in the Word? Go back to sleep...check facebook...read emails...whatever it may be. I hate to admit, but thats me a lot of the time.
                                     Why is that?
Why is it that as a chosen child of God I try to "fit" God into my daily life, when He is the one that gave me this day in the first place? It shouldn't be a "Oh man I should read my Bible today." It should be, "I can't WAIT to read my Bible today, and see what God has to show me today."
A lot of the time I find myself "not having time for God." Which then leads me to think...What is taking up my time instead?
                                Worldly Distractions.
Daily, I allow worldly distractions to get in my way of what is most important in life and that is my walk with Christ. This would be my overall greatest failure... allowing other things to get in the way of God.

People ask me why I loved going to Kenya so much, and why it has such a special place in my heart. The reason being is because there are hardly any worldly distractions there, and they completely rely on Gods provision and strength. When they wake up they don't know if they will have a meal that day, or if there will be any crops. When there is food for the day, they know it came from the Lord and they thank Him for everything. They hardly have "worldly distractions."

"Then He said to them all: "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me." Luke 9:23

Everyday I am reminding myself what is most important in my life, and who am I living for?

Gods unlimited GRACE and love redeems me everyday even when I'm so unworthy. My heart can't fully comprehend why He so graciously desires to have a relationship with me, when some of the time I don't desire to be with Him.

"But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me."
                          2 Corinthians 12:9

God's arms are always open to take us under, even when we have gone astray.
